Indonesian wrestling standout Elipitua
Siregar
will collide with Robin Catalan in a three-round
strawweight clash as part of the One
Championship 157
undercard on Friday at Singapore Indoor
Stadium in Kallang, Singapore. Precious little room for error
exists in One
Championship
at 125 pounds.

Siregar has lost two of his past three bouts after a promising 3-0
start to his career. The Bali MMA export last competed at One
Championship “Heavy Hitters,” where Senzo Ikeda
cut him down with a punch to the body in the third round of their
Jan. 14 pairing. Catalan, meanwhile, has alternated wins and losses
in each of his past five outings. He last fought on Jan. 22, when
he submitted to a rear-naked choke from Ryuto
Sawada
in the third round of their One Championship
“Unbreakable 3” encounter.

As Siregar and Catalan pore over the remaining details associated
with their forthcoming confrontation, a look at some of the numbers
that have accompanied them to this point:

April 4, 1996 in Medan, Indonesia.

3: Siregar wins by submission, accounting for 75%
of his career total (four). All three resulted in rear-naked
chokes. Siregar owns one other win by knockout or technical
knockout, having put away Phat Soda

Horizon” in September 2018.

mixed martial artist. He has gone 3-0 in his native Indonesia, 1-0

Aprilianto
with a rear-naked choke at One Championship “Dawn of
Valor” on Oct. 25, 2019. Having occurred more than two years ago,
it remains his fastest finish to date.

opponents—Ikeda and Pengshuai
Liu
—who have beaten Siregar. They sport a cumulative .613
winning percentage (19-11-1).
