AC Milan are weighing up an approach for Arsenal defender William Saliba, according to The Mirror.
The 21-year-old joined the Gunners from Saint-Etienne in the summer of 2019, but was loaned back to the French club for an entire season.
He has since followed up with another two loan spells. He is presently at Marseille where he has made 51 appearances in all competitions.
According to The Mirror, Milan are looking into a summer deal for Saliba, having been impressed with his performances with Les Phoceens.
The Rossoneri plan to open a dialogue with the Gunners to find out whether they will sanction another loan deal or a permanent transfer.
Saliba has yet to make a competitive appearance for the Gunners. He will enter the final two years of his contract from July this year.
Mikel Arteta has been reluctant to play him in recent seasons, but reports claim that the defender could be integrated into the squad next term.
