NFL Playoffs

The NFL playoffs are down to the final four teams. On January 22, 2018 at U.S Bank Stadium in Minneapolis, Minnesota will be hosting Super Bowl LII between conference champions Philadelphia Eagles and New England Patriots with kickoff taking place at approximately 19:00 local time (UTC−05). The winners of these two games would then go on to play each other for the Lombardi Trophy during the NFL’s championship game called Super Bowl LIII which is scheduled for February 2019 in Atlanta, Georgia. This year’s edition promises to have an exciting matchup as there are several great quarterbacks who will face off against one another including Tom Brady of the New England Patriots vs. Nick Foles of Philadelphia Eagles where players lead their respective team back from a 25-point deficit. The other two quarterbacks are Jared Goff of the Los Angeles Rams and Patrick Mahomes II of the Kansas City Chiefs.

Super Bowl champions

The Super Bowl is the annual championship game of the National Football League (NFL). The game pits the winners of the American Football Conference (AFC) against the winners of the National Football Conference (NFC) in a contest that determines the world champion for the NFL. The first Super Bowl was played on January 15, 1967 at Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum in Los Angeles, California.

The current champions are the New England Patriots who won their fifth title by defeating the Atlanta Falcons 34-28 in overtime in Super Bowl LI. Tom Brady was named MVP of that game, becoming only the fourth player to win four Super Bowl MVP awards. The Patriots have also appeared in more Super Bowls than any other team, with ten appearances.

The next Super Bowl will be played on February 03, 2019 at Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta, Georgia. The Los Angeles Rams are scheduled to play the New England Patriots in that game. As of January 22, 2018, the Rams are favored to win by +0.0 points.

Jared Goff of the Los Angeles Rams

Jared Goff is the starting quarterback for the Los Angeles Rams. He was drafted first overall by the Rams in the 2016 NFL Draft. In his rookie year, he passed for over 3000 yards and had a passer rating of 101.0. This season, Goff has continued to improve, passing for over 4000 yards and scoring 28 touchdowns while throwing only seven interceptions.

Patrick Mahomes II of the Kansas City Chiefs

Patrick Mahomes II is the starting quarterback for the Kansas City Chiefs. He was drafted by them in 2017 after being picked tenth overall. In his rookie year, he passed for over 3000 yards and had a passer rating of 79.0. This season, Patrick has continued to improve passing for over 5000 yards and scoring 50 touchdowns while throwing only 12 interceptions which is good enough to lead all quarterbacks this year!

Mahomes will be facing off against Jared Goff of the Los Angeles Rams in the NFC Championship game on January 20, 2019 at Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta Georgia where kickoff will take place approximately 19:00 local time (UTC−05). Los Angeles Rams

The Los Angeles Rams are a professional American football team based in the Los Angeles metropolitan area. The Rams compete in the National Football League (NFL), as a member club of the league’s National Football Conference (NFC) West division. The team plays its home games at the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum in Exposition Park, which is located east of downtown Los Angeles.

The Rams franchise was founded in 1936 as the Cleveland Rams, located in Cleveland, Ohio. The club moved to Los Angeles before the 1946 season. In 1951, the team split into two separate franchises and played their home games separately until both relocated to St. Louis, Missouri prior to the 1995 season. The Rams left St. Louis for Los Angeles following the 2015 NFL season.

The Rams are the only team in the NFL that plays their home games in a stadium on two different continents, as they play their home games at both Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum and Twickenham Stadium in London, England.
