In response to medical experts cautioning the general public about gatherings for the Super Bowl, the NBA is warning players against having small parties for the big game.

According to The Athletic’s Shams Charania, NBA players and personnel will be allowed to host a maximum of four family members or close friends at a hotel if they’re on the road, but those guests will need to undergo COVID-19 testing beforehand. If players and personnel are home, they can watch the game only with those they live with.
