This is gonna be bonkers.
All I’ve ever wanted was soccer kicks and sushi.

Rizin FF
13 is just a little over a month away, and North American mixed
martial arts fans will recognize many, if not most of the fighters
set to compete on the Sept. 30 card.
With both kickboxing and mixed martial arts bouts filling out the
card, Rizin FF 13 features several
Ultimate Fighting Championship and Strikeforce
veterans. “The Ultimate Fighter” winner Diego
Brandao is set to fight fellow UFC alum Daron
Cruickshank, while Mirko
Filipovic will look to maintain the momentum of his late-career
resurgence against heavyweight Roque
Martinez, who hasn’t lost since 2011. “Cro Cop” hasn’t tasted
defeat himself since 2013, having won eight fights in a row.
Former UFC flyweight title challenger Kyoji
Horiguchi will compete in a kickboxing bout as he looks to
remain undefeated since leaving the promotion back in 2016.
Elsewhere on the card,
Professional Fighters League veteran Jake Heun is
set to fight Jiri
Prochazka in a light heavyweight tilt. Heun took to social
media after the bout was announced to celebrate his appreciation
for the ruleset Rizin FF employs, which includes soccer kicks to
downed opponents.
Rizin FF 13 takes place Sept. 30 from the famous Saitama Arena in
Japan.
